Just Random Ramblings

I tell you that this shit is getting old.I tried for over an hour to lay in bed and go to sleep, but was unsuccessful. I decided to get back on here and post some more stuff. As you can see, I have been busy posting a lot of shit tonight (this morning). I am trying to make up for lost time! So there are lots of new jokes and lots of new NOTW stories. I hope you enjoy :-) Jason has been doing a good job of keeping jokes posted regularly. I think this was the first time I've posted a joke in about a month. I guess I just have not ran across any that were post-worthy.

Not much going on lately. Oh yeah, Happy Valentine's Day to all you couples out there. Hopefully you'll be able to spend time with your sweetheart. Unfortunately I can't do that as I have to work. But I was able to do that over the weekend, so it's OK.

Well I am going to try my luck at going to sleep as it's nearly 5AM dammit.

Jason will be surprised that this song is playing. I think this is actually part two, but I am not sure. I'd have to see the lyrics and right now my Internet connection is failing. It's kind of weird because I have DSL sync and according to my router, I am physically connected. I just can't get any response from anything outside my network. Maybe it won't be down too long.

But anyway, here's the story:

I am sitting here after work going thru bills that I need to pay and all that good stuff. Suddenly there is a knock on the door. I'm like who the hell is knocking on the door at almost Midnight. I kind of thought it might be Ben because I thought I heard him come home. Imagine my surprise when I open the door to find some stranger there and three cop cars out there with flashing lights! The guy asked if he could park his car in my yard for a short while. I'm like yeah, sure it can be there for a short while, I just don't want it there in the morning.

He goes back to the car and I hear the cop ask him if it was OK to park the car. The cop yells across to me about it, I tell him if it's for a few a short while, I don't mind. The cop is like it might be a long while and proceeds to tell the guy that if drives the car he would go to jail.

I don't know what the hell really happened, but someone came to pick up the car about 15 minutes ago. I am wondering the guy was under the influence or something. If he was, he certainly got lucky that he didn't go to jail.

Anyway, that was enough excitement for one night.
